MATT TURNS IT INTO POLE! American Corus Hotels driver, Matt Turner, scored his first pole position of the season for tomorrows round of the Autobytel Lotus Championship at Croft today. In another ultra close qualifying session for the Lotus Championship the top 14 cars are all on the grid tomorrow with times within a second of each other. Qualifying on the dry track was a mainly 3 way battle between Matt Turner, Adam Wilcox and Edward Horner who all traded the provisional pole position over the early part of the half hour session. Also starring in the session were both Jonathan Tee and Ben Devlin who managed to eventually bump Edward Horner down to fifth with third and fourth respectively. With all the championship contenders spread throughout the tightly packed field, tomorrow's race has all the hallmarks of being another classic for which the championship is rapidly becoming renowned. even now, half way through the season, no certain championship contender has emerged so its all up for grabs tomorrow.
