Horner and Turner to race for Porsche GB Porsche GB announces line-up for 2001 Privilege Insurance British GT Series Edward Horner and Matt Turner have been confirmed to line up in Porsche GB's two car assault on the 2001 Privilege Insurance British GT Championship. Horner and Turner were teammates as Corus hotels backed drivers in last years inaugural Lotus Elise championship. This year they will join Porsche GB to challenge for the British GTO crown in a new Porsche 911 GT3RS. "I am very excited about our prospects for the season ahead", said Horner, a former Marcos Mantis Champion and Renault Kart Scholarship winner, who also finished runner up in last years Lotus Elise Championship. "Matt and I work well together and to have the support of Porsche, Corus hotels and Merrill Lynch is fantastic." Turner, who has a background in endurance GT racing in the US and Europe was equally enthusiastic: "Its great to be involved with a company like Porsche. Having support from Porsche GB, along with Michelin Tyres provides a great opportunity. It will feel like family working with Edward and Corus hotels again". UK based Corus hotels, is in its third year of supporting motor racing. "We are delighted to be backing Porsche this year and are confident of success", said Charles Holmes, managing director of Corus and Regal hotels. The team which is run by PARR Motorsport now plans an intensive pre-season test schedule, prior to the first race at Silverstone on April 1, 2001. For
